Fresh hopes over Summerland site

Negotiations have begun with what's termed 'a preferred developer' interested in one of the government's contentious vacant sites.

Talks over the Summerland site, on the northern end of Douglas Promenade, are now underway after a shortlist was whittled down to a single name.

At this time no further details have been released but we do know the company is not Manx based.

Infrastructure Minister David Cretney.
