IOM Squash Report and Results

by isleofman.com 24th April 2013
B League

Jewel Tech Squash Academy (6) v Bespoke Recruitment (19)

Island Exhaust Systems (20) v Outcasts (3)

There was some good squash played throughout with some very good rallies in all the matches. Les Callow, Peter Sharples and Dave Griffiths just had too much match experience though for Phil Whittam, Aleyn Taggart and Stuart Highy respectively. It got really interesting at No.2. This was always bound to go to 5 games; it was just a matter of who would come out on top. This time it was Pat Russell's turn to win, but some really good cat-and-mouse squash was played. At No. 1 there were some blistering rallies from Mark Henson, but he just could not sustain them against a resilient Mike Hebden. Well done to all players.
