Last Saturday saw the conclusion of matches in the Junior Open tournament sponsored by Nedgroup Investments (IOM) Ltd, followed by the prize presentation carried out by former club chairman, Peter Barradell on behalf of the sponsors. He thanked the organisers and promised that Nedgroup will sponsor the 2014 event. It is nice to have a promise of continuing sponsorship
in the current economic climate.

Members are requested to make sure that the clubhouse and courts are locked up if they are the last to leave. There have recently been a few incidents of the courts being found un locked when players have gone to the club in the daytime. Please be more careful – it’s your club. We have excellent facilities and must look after them.
