Disruption to Isle of Man Government website

by isleofman.com 26th April 2013

Isle of Man Government’s main website www.gov.im was earlier this morning subject to a malicious Distributed Denial of Service attack from as yet unknown sources.   As a precautionary measure the site was taken offline and will remain so until our service partners, PDMS and their providers are confident that the attack has been fully mitigated.

A further update will be provided at 14:30 and in the interim we can confirm that there is no risk to Government data or services.

We wish to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
