Hands off our frogspawn!

by isleofman.com 28th April 2013

Leave frogspawn alone!

That's the plea from the Manx Wildlife Trust.

It's been a hard winter for the amphibeans with cold temperatues and late heavy snow.

They are protected under Manx law, unlike newts which aren't a native species.

Duncan Bridges from the Trust says frogs are late spawning this year but unless the spawn is in real danger, it shouldn't be moved

If in doubt you can ring the Wildlife Trust for advice on 844 432
