Review Committee to hear evidence from Minister for Environment, Food & Agriculture

The Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence from the Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture next week. A wide range of topics is likely to be covered in the evidence session, in which Richard Lole, the Chief Executive of the Department, will also participate.

The Committee intends to take this evidence on Wednesday 1st May 2013 at 2.30 pm in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. The evidence will be taken in public; members of the public are welcome to attend.

The Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee is one of three Standing Committees of Tynwald Court established in October 2011 with a wide scrutiny remit. The oral evidence session with the Minister on 1st May 2013 is its second general oral evidence session with DEFA.
