by isleofman.com 29th April 2013

Thirty-six first-time buyer homes have been completed on the New Castletown Road in Douglas.

The Hampton Farm development is a joint project by the Department of Social Care and Haven Homes.

This morning, Minister Chris Robertshaw presented a bouquet of flowers to the first couple to move in to one of the newly built properties.

The site’s been developed as part of government’s strategy to help first time buyers.

Members of the Keys, Council leader David Christian and representatives of Haven Homes attended the presentation.
