Fire Fighter receives Long Service & Good Conduct Medal

Fire Fighter David Maddrell received his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal from Chief Fire Officer Kevin Groom on Thursday evening at Port Erin Station. The medal is in recognition of Dave’s twenty years exemplary Service.

The awarding of the Medal recognises both the commitment of Fire Fighters and their families for the sacrifice they make in making our communities a safer place.

Dave has served at Port Erin Station since 1st June 1992 and has attended a wide variety of incidents. He epitomises all that is good within the Service and he was wished well in the rest of his career, and thanked for his continued commitment to the Service.
