Conference to mark institute's long history

The Island Branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

To mark the occasion the orgnaisaiton is hosting a conference for HR professionals at the Mount Murray hotel.

The topic of the day (30 April) will be Driving Business Growth and Change Through People - and there'll be speakers from the local and UK business community as well as government.

Vice-Chairman of the CIPD on the Island John McChesney hopes the event will encourage people to share ideas:
