Livestock dead expected to rise still further

The number of dead livestock, following the heavy snowfall at the end of March, has now topped 14,000, but its feared there are more bodies to be discovered.

Though spring appears to have arrived in the lower parts of the Island, up in the hills there are still reminders of the conditions that proved so damaging to the Manx flock.
