Emergency services attended a construction site on the Balleira Road, Kirk Michael just after 11:30am yesterday, Wednesday 1st May 2013, following a report of a work related accident.
A 55 year old male who was working at the site died as a result of injuries received.
The investigation is being led by the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate and an update is expected in due course.
