MHK asks for statement on Douglas masterplan

Onchan MHK David Quirk says he’ll be pressing the government to come up with a masterplan for development in the capital

Last week, Department of Infrastructure member Richard Ronan said the government needed such a blueprint – next week in the House of Keys Mr Quirk will ask his minister about it.

In a question, he’ll ask Infrastructure Minister David Cretney to give a statement about a masterplan.

Mr Quirk says he wants to know what progress is being made – and to be involved in putting any such plan together:
