Serious Road Traffic Collision – Derby Square, Douglas

At approximately 1715 hrs on 4th May 2013, a serious road traffic collision occurred on Derby Square, Douglas, involving a Red Peugeot motor car and a 3 year old child.
 
As a result the 3 year old child was taken to Nobles Hospital with what have been described as serious injuries.  The child has now been flown away to Alder Hey hospital for further treatment and remains in a serious condition.
 
The police are currently conducting a full investigation into the circumstances of the collision and anyone who has information about this incident is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or any police officer.
