Tower of Refuge turns "red" to support International Red Cross Week

The Department of Infrastructure is pleased to highlight International Red Cross Week by lighting the Tower of Refuge red from the 5th to the 11th May 2013.
 
Natalie Radford, who is a member of the Isle of Man Fund Raising Committee for Red Cross said, “We are delighted that the Department of Infrastructure has agreed to show their support of International Red Cross Week in this way.  The Red Cross provides considerable support around the Island, including services such as, Care in the Home, Meals on Wheels, Event First Aid, Put to Bed Services, Medical Equipment and Therapeutic Care and we are now in need of new wheelchairs for our Medical Loan Service.
