Madison wins Easter Treasure Hunt

The Milntown Trust and Crossroads Care Isle of Man would like to congratulate Madison McMullan from Ramsey for winning the first prize in this year's annual Easter Hunt in the Milntown Grounds.

Madison, who is 7 years old and attends Auldyn School, beat over 330 other children to win this year's star prize. Congratulations Madison!

Madison was delighted with her prize of Plants with Attitude! said “Thank you I love it!”

Alex Wilson, Fundraising Co-ordinator for Crossroads Care said “We are thoroughly delighted with the number of happy hunters who came and found friends of the Easter bunny in Milntown’s spectacular gardens this year.  Despite the snow Madison beat 334 children to win first prize!  We hope everyone enjoyed the hunt and funds raised support Crossroads charitable projects including Young Carers, Holiday Scheme and Nursery Outreach.”

Thank you to all of the other children and parents and carers who took part. We hope that you enjoyed it and that we will see you again soon. A big thank you to Manx Radio and Shoprite for supporting Milntown and Crossroads Care Isle of Man.

Future events at Milntown include their vintage motorbikes being on display during TT Practice Week and a Model Boat Pageant on the Milntown Lake on Sunday 9th June. More information about events at Milntown can be found at www.milntown.org

All garden admission fees at Milntown go towards the upkeep and maintenance of the Milntown Gardens and Grounds.
