Solway Harvester still in harbour for TT

by isleofman.com 7th May 2013

The Solway Harvester will be broken up later this year but will still be in Douglas harbour during TT fortnight.

This was confirmed during questions in the House of Keys this morning.

Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer wanted to know why the vessel was still there, despite the fact that any further legal action taken by families of the crew who died would not require the vessel to be retained as evidence.

Infrastructure Minister David Cretney said whilst there had been some delays, his department remained committed to completing the work later this year
