Police have named the rider who died as a result of a road traffic collision on the Mountain Road, about 4.20pm on Sunday 5 May 2013.
He was Kevin Stanley Moore, 43 years, of Ballaugh.
Police enquiries are continuing, and although progressing well, they would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything that may assist in the investigation to determine what happened.
