Two paintings stolen from Art Exhibition in Peel

Police are currently investigating the theft of two original canvas paintings from an art exhibition being held in the Cathedral in Peel.
 
The theft took place between 10.30 am and 1.30am on Wednesday 8th May 2013. The paintings are on canvas approximately 3’ x3’ in size and would not have been easily concealed by those responsible. Photographs of the paintings concerned are viewable via the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team’s facebook page www.facebook.com/IOMWNPT.

Police ask anyone who has witnessed this incident or if anyone has any information which could lead to the identity of the offender please ring Peel Police Station on 842208 or Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212.
