Ramsey Police are investigating a commercial burglary which occurred between 1am and 2am on Tuesday, 7th of May 2013.
The Sure Phone Shop, Parliament Street was broken into and stock to the value of several thousands of pounds has been stolen. Mobile phones from several manufacturers have been taken.
Sgt Andy Kneen from Ramsey Police said: “All the circumstances point to this being a deliberately planned crime, rather than a spur of the moment offence. I fully expect that phones stolen from these premises will be offered for sale on the Island. If you are offered a brand new phone, in dubious circumstances or at a knock down price which is too good to be true, it is too good to be true. Please come forward and report any such offer. Any bone fide seller should be able to offer you proof that they came by the phone legitimately Several lines of enquiry are being pursued in relation to this offence. Please pass any information to the Police at Ramsey, or any Police Officer.”
Anyone who has information about this incident should contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234 or Police Station Police Headquarters on 631212. A reward may be payable as a result of your information.
