Police appeal after drill stolen in Ramsey

Between 8:45pm on Tuesday 7th May and 10am on Wednesday 8th May a cordless Makita Drill with box and charger has been taken from an insecure, unoccupied house, under redevelopment, on Fairfield Avenue in Ramsey. The offence was reported today, Friday 10th May 2013. The replacement value of this tool is ?160.
 
Police are appealing for anyone who has witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to come forward, or if anyone has any information that may assist in their enquiries can they please contact PC 134 Ysanne Williamson at Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
 
PC Williamson said:

“ We would ask that anyone who has property under development to ensure that the site is secured overnight, and that any tools and equipment left on site are marked by some means of identification, such as post code, or some other unique reference number”
