The Island faces a tsunami of legislation says West Douglas candidate

by isleofman.com 13th May 2013

There's a "tsunami of legislation" coming into the Island - and we should be selective on what we introduce.

That's the belief of Clive Dawson, one of the candidates in next week's by-election in West Douglas.

Mr Dawson, a former army officer, honorary consul to the Isle of Man government in Thailand and private secretary of the Lieutenant Governor, is standing as an independent and lives in the constituency.

He says the Island faces many challenges and believes his skills in policy analysis would be of great use in ensuring we will bring in measures which will be genuinely beneficial

The other candidates standing in the election on the 23rd May are Quintin Gill, John Skinner and Chris Thomas.
