Police appeal after car damaged in Castletown

Police are investigating damage to a dark green Citroen vehicle which was parked close to the junction of Scarlet Road with Farrants Way in Castletown. 
 
The Police are appealing to the public and neighbouring properties for any information which could help them with their enquires.
 
The damage was caused between 9am on Tuesday 7th May and 9am Wednesday 8th May 2013 and it is suspected that the person responsible would have used a sharp object to scratch along the side of the vehicle.
 
PC Julie Bareham stated “This kind of vandalism is totally unacceptable in our community and we are working hard to identify the person responsible.  As always we really need the help of the public and I would urge anybody with information to contact me or one of my colleagues”
 

Anyone who has information about this incident should contact Police Headquarters on 631212. A reward may be payable as a result of your information.
