Government must earn more - and spend less says West Douglas candidate

Earn more,spend less, utilise savings.

Three strategies which a candidate in next week's by-election in West Douglas believes the government needs to concentrate on in the current economic climate.

Social worker and former Rushen MHK Quintin Gill is standing as an independent.

He moved to live in Douglas last year for personal reasons but says he's spent most of his working life in the capital.

Mr Gill says at the moment government is only balancing the budget by dipping into reserves.
