by isleofman.com 14th May 2013

Scientists from Oxford University are looking for your help with a genetics research project.

The team are taking blood samples to help create a genetic map of the British Isles.

They're currently on the Island and are looking for volunteers to join the study.

A presentation detailing the work is being shown at the Alpha Centre in the Broadway Baptist Church at 6pm tonight.

Sir Walter Bodmer who's leading the project says the DNA can reveal a lot:

The team is taking samples at the Broadway Baptist Church today and tomorrow from 9am to 6pm & Thursday 9am to 2pm.
