Adult Learners Week IOM is now being brought to the Island for the first time, during the week 18th to 24th May, with a number of free events being held at Tower House, Castle Street, Douglas and other event being held in different locations around Douglas.
Adult Learners Week IOM & The IOM College of Further & Higher Education have come together to host the weeklong series of events and presentations throughout the week and to help launch the Part-Time Course Guide 2013/14.
On Saturday 18th May from 11a.m. – 2p.m. there will be demonstrations from the following areas of the Adult Community Education Programme Area –
Guitar for Beginners course
Greenwood Sculpting course
Flower Arranging courses
Astronomy courses
On Monday 20th May, Thursday 23rd May and Friday 24th May, 11a.m. – 2p.m. there will be demonstrations from the Drawing and Painting courses.
On Tuesday 21st May, 11a.m. – 2p.m. there will be a demonstration from the Sugar Flowers courses.
Please take this opportunity to enrol on the new part-time courses for the upcoming academic year 2013/14. The Adult Community Education courses start week commencing 30th September 2013.
