Sunbed laws on the way

Legislation which is designed to make the use of sunbeds safer is close to gaining royal assent.

It would see fixed penalty notices given to salons who let under 18s use tanning beds, and court action if businesses are left unsupervised - as some currently are.

East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell told John Moss she hopes the law to be in place by the Autumn:
