Fun day at Groudle

by isleofman.com 19th May 2013

There’ll be a rare opportunity to climb aboard the Island’s oldest diesel locomotives today (Sunday).

It’s Diesel and Electric Day at Groudle.

Between 11am and 4.30pm, there’s the chance to ride trains hauled by the battery electric locomotive Polar Bear and the railway’s Dolphin and Walrus.

Volunteer Alex Brindley is hoping it will prove popular for all ages.
