PM: Get your house in order

by isleofman.com 20th May 2013

Prime Minister David Cameron has urged British overseas territories to 'get their house in order' and sign up to international treaties on tax.

He wrote to 10 territories and crown dependencies, including the Isle of Man.

Despite leading the way in moves towards transparency, critics claim places such as the Island are used by companies for tax avoidance or evasion.

The plea came ahead of next month’s G8 summit, when the UK is expected to push for tighter tax measures.
