Young FilmMaker of Mann 2013

The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure, Manx Arts Development is pleased to announce the Young FilmMaker of Mann Competition 2013.
 
Young FilmMaker of Mann, now in its tenth year, has become an established outlet for young Manx filmmakers to showcase their talent. Entrants must be under the age of 18.
 
Individuals and groups can apply for the competition and the categories are: Comedy, drama, documentary, experimental, music video, advertisement and animation. Category winners are awarded ?100 and the overall competition winner receives a trophy and ?200. Shortlisted entries will be screened in a showcase event at the Broadway Cinema on Saturday, 14 September 2013 as part of the Isle of Man Film Festival being organised by Mannin Shorts.
 
Young FilmMaker of Mann is supported by the Isle of Man Arts Council who have kindly provided the awards.
 
The closing date for entries is Monday, 2 September 2013 at 12 noon. Entry forms can be obtained from Manx Arts Development on 694598, or email manxartsdevelopment@gov.im and via our website www.iomarts.com.
