The hydro power station at Sulby dam has notched-up a record year for green energy generation.
The Sulby plant's achieved an all-time record output of of 4.9GWh (giga-watt hours) from the reservoir turbines for the year to March 2013.
That beat the previous record of 4.5GWh set back in 1994.
It means one-and-a-quarter per cent of the Island's energy needs are being produced by renewable hydro energy, equivalent to providing electricity to 500 Island homes.
