Bus strike enters second day

It’s day two of the Island’s bus strike – with no sign of compromise between unions and government.

Yesterday saw the start of the industrial action which is scheduled to last through to June 5 – the longest strike the Island’s seen in decades.

Passengers were left confused after widespread disruption, with Bank Holiday services in operation.

Community, Culture and Leisure Minister Graham Cregeen says the department made detailed contingency plans:
