Port-a-loos damaged at Family Fun day in Castletown

by isleofman.com 28th May 2013
On Sunday 19th  May 2013, there was a Family Fun day held at Poulsom Park, Castletown which was a fantastic day out for the family and enjoyed by many young and old.

Sadly, the end of the day brought disappointment as it was found that someone had caused damage to the port a loos that had been hired for the day.

As a result the committee who organised this day in order to raise money for the town will have to pay costs in relation to this taking that money away from the town and future fun events.

A number of young males are believed to have been responsible for pushing the toilets over at the end of the evening after everyone had left. It is particulary sad that they are likely to be residents of the town which makes it even more disappointing.

If anyone knows anything about this matter or indeed if any of these males responsible wish to come forward, please contact Pc Louise Kennaugh at Castletown Police Station.  Tel : 822222
