Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the Mountain Mile on Sunday morning.

Constable Steve Tate said:

“I am looking to trace the driver of a small hatchback sized car, either red or burgundy in colour, which was on the Mountain Mile around 9 am, Sunday 26th May 2013. If the driver could contact myself, or anyone from the Roads Policing Unit on 631212  I would very much like to speak with them.”

The collision involved one motorcyclist, who was transferred to Nobles Hospital where he is detained with serious chest injuries.
