OFT issues petrol warning to riders

by isleofman.com 28th May 2013

The Island’s Office of Fair Trading is reminding racers about the dangers of storing petrol during TT.

The OFT says it’s worried racing fuel may be stored illegally and says anyone storing more than ten litres needs a special licence.

TT competitors can use a secure store which has been granted a temporary license – to find out more you can contact G4S on 395283.

The OFT says anyone storing fuel illegally could have it confiscated – and they may face legal action.
