TT Festival One-Way System

by isleofman.com 30th May 2013
The Department of Infrastructure would like to take this opportunity to advise all motorists particularly car drivers and motorcycle riders, who travel the Mountain Road from Ramsey to the Creg-ny-Baa, that although a one-way system is in place when the roads are open, regular road traffic laws remain in force.  It is therefore still illegal to cross solid white lines and rules on dangerous and careless driving still apply for example.

The Mountain Road remains a public highway and traffic laws will be enforced by the police.  Please remain in the left-hand lane unless overtaking slower moving traffic, use your mirror and remain vigilant at all times.

Normal rules apply, expect the unexpected and be prepared to stop if signaled to do so by a police officer (unmarked police vehicles are in operation Island wide this year).
