DCCL being 'unreasonable', says shop steward

The Island's bus drivers say they can't understand why the government has rejected their recent offer.

The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure again met with the striking drivers yesterday but negotiations collapsed.

The drivers claim they offered an extra ?200,000-worth of savings, but this was turned down.

Shop steward Carl Vernon says the DCCL is being unreasonable:
