Sunday timetable to continue for now on buses

Bus Vannin is still running a Sunday timetable, as it continues to struggle to get enough replacement drivers to cover the strike period.

Officials hope that will improve in the next few days, though.

Meanwhile, the community, culture and leisure minister has rejected drivers' claims the dispute now centres on health and safety concerns.

Shop steward Carl Vernon has told Manx Radio drivers don't want the time they work without a break increased to four-and-a-half hours, as that was unsafe and would put the staff and the public at risk.
