by isleofman.com 31st May 2013

Police dealt with a number of incidents on the Island's roads this morning.

The Mountain Road was completely closed for a couple of hours just after 8am, following a crash at the 26th Milestone.

There was one on the approach to Ramsey, at the junction of Lezayre Road and Bircham Avenue, at a similar time.

At around 10am officers were also dealing with a one-bike accident at Rhencullen.

The Mountain Road was only fully open for around half an hour, before being closed from the Bungalow to the Creg-ny-Baa following a serious incident involving a bike at Windy Corner.

At a similar time there was an incident involving cyclists in Port St Mary, on Beach Road.

Just after 11am there was another crash, this time at Ballaspur.

Then at around 11.50am police posted another update on their Facebook page.

They were dealing with a crash on King Edward Road, Onchan, near the Old Toll House.
