Three in a row for Dunlop

by isleofman.com 3rd June 2013

It’s been Michael Dunlop’s TT so far.

He clinched his third straight win – his third in 24 hours – with victory in the Royal London 360 Superstock TT.

He set a blistering pace on the final lap in a record time of 131.22 miles per hour to overtake long-time leader Gary Johnson from Lincolnshire.

Johnson had a mechanical problem and eased off on the last lap.

19-times TT winner John McGuinness was third.

It was a frantic finish from the Irishman as he sealed his sixth TT victory to double his career tally in a day.
