Teenage golf ace rules at St Andrew's

A Manx teenager won a prestigious golf competition in St Andrew's at the weekend.

Island ladies champion Emma Harris travelled to Scotland to take part in the 54-hole St Rule Trophy.

Emma, a member of Peel Golf Club, achieved 1st place in the under-18 section to win the Lawson Trophy and finished 9th overall.

The competition attracted a 60-strong field of golfers from France, the USA, Brazil and Australia, all of whom have a handicap of 3 or under.
