Bus strike ends - but contingency timetable continues

by isleofman.com 6th June 2013

The walkout by the Island's bus drivers ended at midnight last night, with those who've been on strike returning to work today after 12 days on the picket line.

During the strike period a contingency timetable has been in operation, with relief drivers filling in.

Shop steward Carlton Mealin doesn't believe its been effective and also thinks allegations of intimidation towards drivers who chose to fill in, or not to strike, seem to be made up

Bus Vannin says the TT timetable will continue today (Thurs) and tomorrow.
