Shop owner hits out at temporary stores

The owner of a Douglas memorabilia store says an influx of off-Island companies setting up shop during TT fortnight is impacting on local businesses.

A number of empty units have been leased out, putting local shops up against a clutch of temporary stores.

Lee Watson says it’s causing frustration for many permanent retailers:
