TT spectators injured at Bray Hill - Senior TT halted

by isleofman.com 7th June 2013

The final race of TT 2013 was red flagged less than a lap into the event.

Competitor number 68, Jonathan Howarth from Barnsley in South Yorkshire, crashed on Bray Hill in Douglas.

Whilst the rider is understood to be ok, it's thought five spectators were hurt after his bike went into the crowd.

Manx Radio reporter David Harrison was watching at Bray Hill and described what happened:

It's understood one spectator has serious injuries, the others are described as having relatively minor injuries.
