An incredible honour - students attend Westminster ceremony

One of the Manx students who attended the service marking 60 years since the Queen's coronation says it was an incredible experience.

Head boy at QEII High School Elliott Alexander was chosen alongside Ramsey Grammar School head girl Hayley Robinson to attend the ceremony.

They were picked at random from a list of pupils nominated by the Lieutenant Governor.

The pair went along with His Excellency and other Manx dignitaries to Westminster.

Elliott said it was a once in a lifetime opportunity:
