Constable Carl WOODS from Central Neighbourhood Policing Team has recovered two bicycles from the Murray’s Road area of Douglas in the early hours of Monday 10th June 2013. Enquiries are on-going into the circumstances in which these bicycles were located and police are particularly keen to speak to the owners of the bicycles. The bicycles are described as a GIANT adult mountain bike and an APOLLO child’s bike. Please can residents of this area check any outbuildings, sheds and gardens for any missing items.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the damage of two motor vehicles, which took place between 7:00pm and 7:20pm on Friday 7th June 2013. At the time of the damage occurring, the vehicles in question were parked in the area of nobles park playing fields behind the temporary TT grandstand. The damage to these vehicles is consistent with person(s) climbing onto the vehicles and moving around on top of them.
Police are anxious to hear from persons who may have information which could assist in furthering their investigations and would urge any person who noticed this activity, or similar, in the area between the stated times, to make contact. Enquires are ongoing into this matter and Police will be eager to speak with witnesses. Additionally, crime prevention advice can be made available to you, via your local Police Station.
