Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association has the opportunity to host a unique fundraising event on Friday 21st June 2013.
The theme of the evening is ‘time enough’, as the longest day gives us the pleasure of time to explore Arragon Mooar, Dr John C Taylor’s distinctive property, off the old Castletown Road in Santon.
This spectacular building and grounds are being opened up to the guests of IOM Anti-Cancer Association for a fundraising canape evening.
The evening will begin with drinks on the roof terrace, allowing us time to take in the spectacular views over the south of the Island.
Those who attend will be able to explore the fantastic house and grounds – the individual architecture of this property is stunning, giving us a glimpse into Dr Taylor’s flair for creativity.
The centrepiece of the main atrium is the ‘Chronophage’, a wonderful feat of craftsmanship and engineering – this timepiece was designed by Dr Taylor and really must be seen.
Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association are also delighted to offer guests the unique opportunity to view Dr Taylor’s personal collection of time pieces. This collection has previously brought Stephen Hawking specifically to the Island for a personal viewing, and contains a variety of exquisite clocks. We will be offering guided tours of the collection throughout the evening.
Tickets are on sale now for this unique event and are priced at ?40.
IOM Anti-Cancer Association would like to thank Dr Taylor for this fantastic opportunity to raise funds towards their work against cancer.
