Sunday was a glorious day; very sunny with a light breeze it provided near perfect shooting weather. Most of the archers who turned out were able to take advantage of the conditions to post personal best scores.
The Gents Compound event saw Dave Moore take a comfortable win. Billy Lightfoot added 38 points to his personal best score to scoop second place, leaving Pete Mumford in third.
The Ladies Compound event saw an incredible contest between Aalin George and Sarah Rigby. In the end Aalin posted the highest score of the day and took the win by just one point from Sarah.
Rhys Moore coasted to victory some 194 points ahead of his rivals Mat Smith and Rob Lott. Rob added 125 points to his personal best score but lost out to Mat who hit one more gold than him.
Karen Lott added 49 points to her p.b to break the 900 barrier for the first time, while Danny Cowing added 38 points to his personal best score.
Of the juniors at the club only Jack Tyrer and Bradley Layton turned up to shoot. Bradley suffered and equipment failure which was reflected in his score. Jack Tyrer attempted to Short Metric III round for the first time.
