RBS situation unclear for Isle of Man

by isleofman.com 13th June 2013

It’s not yet clear whether any jobs will be lost in the Isle of Man as the Royal Bank of Scotland says it’s cutting two thousand posts.

The firm says it’s making savings in its investment division, and the job losses will be worldwide.

On the Isle of Man, the group operates Royal Bank of Scotland International - and Isle of Man Bank is also owned by the company.

However, so far there’s no word as to whether any staff on the Island will be affected by the decision.
