Plans for water treatment plant

by isleofman.com 13th June 2013

The Department of Education and Children wants to refurbish a former waterworks in Douglas and turn it into an engineering workshop.

The site in Greenfield Road belongs to the Island’s Water and Sewerage Authority but the department says it would like to transform it into a vehicle workshop.

The scheme would need an improved entrance, car park and landscaping.

Interested parties have until July 5 to submit comments to the Department of Infrastructure’s Planning and Building Control Division in Mount Havelock in Douglas.
