Supporters of a campaign to end world hunger are staging a mass vigil on Peel beach tonight (Sunday) as leaders of the richest nations gather for the G8 summit.
Organisers from the One World Centre have chosen the Peel shoreline as it looks out towards Northern Ireland where UK Prime Minister David Cameron will host the summit on Monday and Tuesday.
As part of the Global Poverty Project 800 small candles will be lit to spell-out the campaign message - there is enough food for everyone if the world's resources are shared fairly.
